Ngày 24/12, Tập đoàn Công nghiệp – Viễn thông Quân đội (Viettel) tổ chức trao tặng toàn bộ 37.000 máy tính bảng kèm sim 4G Viettel miễn phí 3 tháng data cho học sinh thuộc hộ nghèo, cận nghèo thuộc 8 tỉnh, thành phố trên cả nước. Đây là số lượng máy tính lớn nhất do một tổ chức tài trợ hưởng ứng chương trình “Sóng và máy tính cho em” do Thủ tướng Chính phủ phát động, tính đến thời điểm này. Số tiền mua máy từ kinh phí của Tập đoàn Viettel và gần 40 nghìn CBNV ủng hộ.
