Remote medical examination, treatment support and consultation system (Viettel Telehealth) is an IT and telecommunications application solution that allows medical staff to look up medical examination history, images and results from testing, helping to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients at lower-level medical facilities. Telehealth fully meets 6 specifications of the Ministry of Health, including 3 groups of applications:

► Remote monitoring group helps doctors detect and provide intervention solutions as soon as the patient has the first symptoms.

► Real-time interactive group helps patients to exchange, interact directly with doctors and receive medical instructions at anytime, and from anywhere.

► Archives and imaging group helps save time and costs for patients who have to visit specialists directly. Currently, the system has been deployed in more than 1,000 medical facilities nationwide, connecting more than 27 upper-level hospitals.

Viettel - HIS hospital management system serves Provincial/city hospitals (general, specialized), district hospitals, other private hospitals, covering all flow from registration, medical examination, treatment, hospital fees, pharmacy, drug distribution until the patient is discharged. The system complies with the regulations of the Ministry of Health and Vietnam Social Insurance in medical examination and treatment and health insurance payment settlement. The system also strictly manages medical examination and treatment costs; digitizes most specialized medical records, professional and administrative documents, and minimizes handwritten records in order to make all information is accessible easily.

HIS.LITE - the commune/ward health management information system was built and developed according to Decision No. 3532/QD-BYT of the Ministry of Health. The system allows medical stations to manage and exploit data with ease to meet the needs of the medical examination and treatment management, statistics, and targeted health programs of commune/ward health levels, clinics, agencies' medical stations and small medical examination and treatment facilities.

The system provides complete, comprehensive and thorough management of the patient's medical examination and treatment activities from admission, medical examination and treatment, outpatient treatment, infectious disease medical records, and non-transitable diseases inpatient to discharge, pharmacy management, medical supplies and paraclinical management. The system is customizable, up-to-date and helps to optimize the business processes, bringing practical efficiency in professional management and operation of medical facilities.

The system was built on advanced technology and database with modern infrastructure at international standards, Database is secured and centralized managed. The system was deployed on internet environment that makes it's easy to access and manage data at anytime anywhere.

Implement Resolution No. 20/NQ-TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Party Central Committee on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health in the new situation and Directive 23/ CT-TTg of the Prime Minister dated August 23, 2018 on strengthening the management and connection of medicine supply establishments to help reduce paperworks; control poor-quality medicine, counterfeit medicine, unknown origin medicine, control the sale of medicine without invoices, without prescriptions, abuse of antibiotics; control drug prices, quantity of medicine, estimate medicine nationwide.

Viettel collaborates with the Ministry of Health to build and deploy IT applications connecting medicine supply establishments nationwide with the following components: pharmacy management system; National Medicine Database; web portal and mobile application allow to search for drug information and alert the management agencies on poor-quality and counterfeit Medicine.

The infectious disease reporting system (eCDS) is developed by Viettel in collaboration with the Ministry of Health via Circular 54/2015/TT-BYT, guiding the regime of information, reporting and declaration of infectious diseases and epidemics nationwide to serve the statistics reports, management and supervision of cases and outbreaks of 42 regulated infectious diseases.

The system helps to monitor infectious diseases as soon as a case is detected until the outbreak is over; the data is reported timely and accurately for convenient statistics, epidemic analysis, and to reduce paperwork.

Malaria Management System (MMS) helps to collect complete, continuous and systematic information on the situation and trends of malaria, fully supports reporting, analyzes and interpretes data, and provides information for planning, implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of malaria control. All malaria information data systems are started at the commune health level, the data are collected and processed with different complexity depending on different authority level (commune - district - province - central government)

The health insurance assessment information system connects all healthcare facilities that accepts health insurance to the social insurance agency via the internet, including 3 components: the system of receiving health insurance claims; health insurance inspection system and shared directory system. The inspection software for health insurance inspection system is able to detect errors and filter them based on payment request files of the medical facility. The software provides statistical function to detect whether these errors are unique or common, so that appropriate adjustments can be made

The health insurance assessment information system is built with a modern scale, connecting the system of medical examination and treatment facilities nationwide, applying the automatic assessment feature, helping to analyze and compile quickly and accurately statistics of health care and treatment covered by health insurance in each province as well as on a national scale in order to adjust overall management.

METHADONE Treatment management information system is implemented nationwide by Viettel in collaboration with the Ministry of Health in order to manage all patients by unique ID codes, Methadone treatment facilities, dispensing facilities to the commune level from warehouse management, drug distribution, consulting, testing, statistical reports, etc.

The system helps to digitalize the process, saving time and costs, reducing administrative procedures, helping patients when accessing treatment and complying with treatment.

Health Record System is a core system in the planning of IT applications in the health sector, managing patient’s health information across time (administrative information, medical history, vaccination history, etc.) The system syncs information from the management system of medical facilities at all levels. The system is both a receiver and an information provider for other health record systems, creating a centralized environment for data from many sources (medical check, medications, treatment, immunization, population), helping to search and exploit data.

The National Immunization Information System (NIIS) was built and deployed by Viettel in collaboration with the General Department of Preventive Medicine- Ministry of Health in order to provide official information on vaccination.
