According to the official announcement from the organizers of the world's largest information technology awards – IT World Awards 2024, Viettel Group continues to be the company with the most top-ranking technological products. Viettel had 20 award-winning products this year, with 4 Gold, 12 Silver, and 4 Bronze awards. Viettel's total award count is nearly 1.5 times higher than the second-place company, eBay from the United States, which garnered 13 awards.
Viettel's four Gold-winning products include the national high school graduation exam system, the digital citizen application, the Viettel Cloud ecosystem, and the Viettel eKYC electronic customer identification service.
The national high school graduation exam system is officially used by Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training across all 63 provinces.
The digital citizen application, part of Viettel's digital government ecosystem, supports citizens with public services.
The Cloud ecosystem is praised for its high flexibility and ability to seamlessly integrate with products and solutions from major global tech companies such as AWS, Microsoft, and SAP.
The Viettel eKYC electronic customer identification service is integrated into the company's system and is applied in operations such as security control, customer identification, and fraud prevention. Since 2020, Viettel eKYC has helped businesses reduce over 80% of paperwork and save more than 70% of the time needed to complete procedures.
Other Viettel products recognized and awarded span various fields including cybersecurity, logistics, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and entertainment.
At the IT World Awards 2024, more than 2,000 experts worldwide participated as judges, selecting winning companies in various categories, highlighting significant advancements and impactful solutions in the technology sector.
