According to the agreement, Viettel will work with the two districts to promote digital transformation in terms of digital infrastructure, digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
On digital infrastructure, by 2025, Viettel will have invested in 4G and 5G infrastructure to cover broadband services for 100% of the population in the region. At the same time, Viettel plans to build the largest data center in Vietnam with an investment worth VND 6,000 billion.
Regarding the digital government, the group will offer smart operating center services and a shared data center system for the operation of local authorities.
With regard to the digital economy, Viettel will work with local authorities to achieve the target to help 100% of businesses use digital management platforms, electronic contracts, and digital signatures. Particularly for the digital management platform, Viettel is ready to provide 100% of businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.
In terms of digital society, the group will work to ensure that all residents in Hoc Mon and Cu Chi districts can use smartphones and electronic payment accounts.

At the signing ceremony of the agreement, Viettel's Chairman and General Director, Colonel Tao Duc Thang presented 200 houses of gratitude to heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy families, and needy households in Hoc Mon and Cu Chi districts.
