The award conveyed the appreciation of Viettel Group towards the team’s efforts following their first-ever advance to the finals of a FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. Viettel Group seeks to encourage the team to bring into play their achievements in upcoming domestic and international tournaments.
At the ceremony, Viettel’s representative expressed hope that the national women’s football team would outstandingly complete their missions at the 31st SEA Games, bringing glory to Vietnam, the host of the games.
Viettel Sports Center, a member of Viettel Group, currently manages Viettel FC, which is competing in the ongoing V-League 2022.
Viettel Group focuses on developing football methodically to help bring Vietnamese football to the World Cup. Its goal is to contribute talents to the Vietnamese national men’s football team.
