Vietnam's first 5G DFE Chip is part of the 5G product ecosystem entirely designed by Viettel engineers. As the most complex component in the 5G ecosystem, this Chip plays a role in processing 5G DFE algorithms, controlling all operations of 5G RRU (Radio Remote Unit), and high-speed communication with other 5G processing units. The 5G DFE Chip has a computing capacity of 1,000 trillion calculations per second and has been highly praised by reputable partners such as Synopsys.
Fully mastering the chip design process is a significant step for Vietnam to engage more deeply in the global semiconductor industry, especially as the world market has yet to provide commercial 5G chip products. This breakthrough allows Viettel to manufacture various chips for multiple fields, such as AI, 6G, IoT, in the future.
At the exhibition booth, attendees can experience and learn about the comprehensive 5G network system built by Viettel, which is completely self-sufficient in technology, ensuring information security for Vietnam. Viettel's 5G devices apply the latest technologies and meet global standards. These devices are used in 11 Viettel-invested markets with nearly 200 million subscribers, ready to commercialize 5G in Vietnam.
At the exhibition, Viettel showcases two exemplary products in its AI ecosystem, including a Virtual Legal Assistant currently effectively used in judiciaries and an automated customer care support solution - Viettel AI Video KYC.
Viettel combines natural language processing, computer vision on Big Data platform and Cloud to flexibly solve problems for organizations, businesses, and society.
VIIE 2023 focuses on 8 core areas: smart factories, smart cities, hydrogen technology, digital communications, semiconductor technology, healthcare technology, environmental technology, and cybersecurity. Viettel is currently participating in all 8 of these areas and is a pioneering enterprise in smart cities, semiconductor technology, and cybersecurity.
Located in the Exhibition Area of the National Innovation Center (Hoa Lac base), Viettel's booth is designed in a multidimensional digital exhibition model, combining technology solution demonstrations with inspiring artistic images, reflecting the continuous spirit of 'When technology moves forward, no one is left behind.'
With 5G, Viettel brings to the exhibition the 5G Chip, 5G gNodeB transceiver devices (8T8R, 32T32R), 5G gNodeB transceiver stations, 100G Site Router transmission devices, and high-frequency signal processing units for 5G. As the representative that made Vietnam the sixth country in the world with the capability to produce 5G network equipment in 2019, Viettel is currently the only company globally that is both a telecommunications network operator and a researcher/manufacturer of network equipment.
In the AI ecosystem, the virtual legal assistant is the only virtual assistant in Vietnam that possesses a large and reliable legal knowledge system, designed specifically for the Vietnamese people. With the ability to process up to 2,000 requests simultaneously, Viettel's virtual assistant can increase productivity up to 10,000 times, helping minimize personnel and deployment time, providing instant 24/7 responses to citizens and customers.
Viettel AI Video KYC, part of the AI Human project, assists in customer verification, voice communication, and automatic image processing. This solution helps businesses save nearly 60 billion VND per year, with an approval rate on the bot of ~90%, processing hundreds of thousands of video call requests each month, operating 24/7.
As a pioneering enterprise leading innovation activities in Vietnam, Viettel currently owns 116 exclusive patents in Vietnam and 29 exclusive patents in the United States, ranking first in the number of patents registered and granted in the country.
