The figures have been the outcomes of a health insurance program launched by Viettel for its employees’ relatives since 2020.
Last year alone, 2,500 Viettel employees registered to buy insurance for over 4,800 relatives through the preferential program at 30 - 45% lower than that offered by available insurance packages on the market. Depending on each insurance package selected, benefits for relatives of Viettel employees include life insurance, accident insurance, medical examination, and treatment at 377 medical examination and treatment facilities, including many international hospitals nationwide.
Distinctively, despite the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, possible increase in insurance fees, and benefit limitations by insurance service providers, Viettel still keeps the preferential programs unchanged and adds new benefits such as payment of treatment fees for COVID-19 patients with assigned treatment at home and online examination and treatment.
“Viettel would like to contribute to the care for our employees’ relatives,” said Ms. Vu Thi Mai, HR Director at Viettel Group, adding that the health insurance program is Viettel’s thanks to our employees’ relatives for their support as a basis for our employees’ work and devotion.
The Viettel Family philosophy is not only for employees but also for their relatives. Besides, Viettel has, over the past decade, presented 200,000 Lunar New Year (Tet) gifts per year to its employees’ relatives.
Viettel also launched many different programs to take care of employees’ relatives who are working abroad, and whose families are affected by natural disasters, facing difficulties in life, and whose family members suffer from serious illnesses.
