At Viettel, the NA Vice-Chairman and the Delegation visited the high-tech industrial product display area and learned about modern military technical equipment and telecommunications apparatus; information technology researched and produced by Viettel; experienced digital transformation, cyber security solutions owned by Viettel.

Colonel Cao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of the Group, reported on the enterprise’s performance, highlighting the achievements of more than 30 years of establishment and development.

Praising Viettel’s achievements, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, acknowledged Viettel’s efforts to carry out business tasks and ensure national security and defense. He also affirmed Viettel’s accomplishments, shown by its outstanding growth rate for many years and its contribution to the State budget. In addition, it is continuously one of the top enterprises in paying taxes and conducting meaningful social programs.

Appreciating Viettel’s foreign investment, Senior Lieutenant General Phuong praised its contribution to economic development and the promotion of Vietnamese people and technology.

With its internal strength, Viettel has created breakthroughs in high-tech industrial research and manufacturing. It gradually mastered the most modern telecommunications technologies, catching up with the world when successfully manufacturing 4G and 5G networks. In the military field, Viettel has researched and produced high-tech defense industrial products, contributing to the modernization of the army.

The Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly welcomed the mission Viettel set for itself, that is, pioneering and leading the construction of a digital society in Vietnam with four focuses, including E-government for people to be better served; Digital economy for people to get wealthier, Digital society to make people happier; Cybersecurity for people to live and work more safely.
