At the 4th World Information Technology Forum, Deputy Secretary General of International Telecommunication Union, Dr. Houlin Zhao said “We are very pleased to welcome a very dynamic Vietnamese company Viettel as our new Member […]. I was very impressed by their determination to make their success not only based on its domestic market, but more importantly based through the international market competition. Their strategy and their measures as they introduced to me have convinced me that they will have their brilliant future, though it is a long and difficult journey. I hope they will bring their value, the Vietnamese value, to the work of ITU.'"
